If you live in a state which does not require you to file state income tax, you can save money by using the TaxACT Deluxe version. However, if you do need to file state income taxes, TaxACT Ultimate gives you a great bundled package. The Ultimate package is a feature-rich offering, which provides TaxACT's intuitive and user-friendly navigation. TaxACT Ultimate can handle multiple life changes, such as having a baby, getting a new job, buying a home, as well as several other pertinent deductions. You can also import directly from your W-2 or 1099s. You can add unlimited tax support via phone; however you must prepay for the service, instead of waiting until you're ready to file.
